Joe Cardosi and Andrew Polk are New Orleans-based stand-up comedians that were both going to split for the greener pastures of L.A. or NYC, then realized that you can’t drink on the street there, and they would get arrested for beating up the first man who tried to sell them an organic hat out of his bicycle.
Massive Fraud produces a monthly filmed sketch and stand-up showcase called KARATEFIGHT at the Indywood Theater. It has never not sold-out. Most recently Louis C.K. and Hannibal Buress dropped by to perform during it. It ruined the show in the best way possible.
We just began a monthly experimental anything-goes comedy open mic called Culture Vulture, that takes place in various, secret locations. To sign-up, or get the location, you have to email us. We showcase live and filmed sketch, vines, instagram videos, crazy youtube shit, and stand-up with a few rules. If you’re gonna do stand-up, it has to either be ALL NEW, a character, or if you choose to do your old material, we get to make it into a game you have to play by (previous games include Heckled By Mr. Okra, Strip Every Time We Don’t Laugh, and Hurricane Andrew, courtesy our friends at the Late Late Breakfast show)
In the last 6 months we’ve brought in headliner shows like Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction with Bryan Cook, and Kyle Kinane, Myq Kaplan, Chris Duffy, Underwear Comedy Party, Drunktoons, Brandie Posey, John-Michael Bond, Ron Babcock, Dave Losso, and many more.
